Life-savers while Volunteering at the Animal Shelter

Members of the high school Roots & Shoots Club have been volunteering on Thursday’s at the ARK Animal Welfare Shelter. Yesterday, students saved a dog’s life. They found the dog, who was badly attacked, and took him to the veterinarian. The vet performed emergency surgery and saved the dog’s life. If anyone is looking to add a pet to their family, please consider getting one from a shelter.
