Making Our Own Mooncakes

The day before the traditional Chinese Mid-autumn Festival, many students in Teda International School had the great opportunity to make their own mooncakes during Chinese classes. They learnt how to make the special snack by following the teachers and trying with their own hands. Some students could not wait and ate the yummy mooncakes right away while others took them back home and shared with family because they learnt that the spirit of the Mid-autumn Festival is reunion and sharing with family. Students in the secondary school even had a moon cake tasting and voting event, where different variety of moon cakes were tasted and students voted for the most popular flavor. They are going to do a project called “The Most Popular Mooncake Flavors”.
