2015 Mid-autumn Day Celebration

On September 21st-25th, 2015, Chinese Department held Riddle Guessing and Mooncake Making activities to celebrate the Mid-autumn Day, which is an important traditional festival in China, emphasizing family reunion. All primary students and students who take Chinese classes in secondary school learnt how to make mooncakes as the special food to eat on the festival. They also had a great time guessing the riddles. Moreover, they painted paper lanterns to decorate the campus for this event. The students gained more cultural understanding of the festival traditions of the Mid-autumn Day.
