Taking part in sports gives children the physical activity needed for building healthy bones and muscles. It also provides improved coordination, while boosting your child’s self-esteem and self-confidence. Sport teaches children about teamwork and helps develop their social skills.
In the morning, the ECA children participated in various sports activities. The children enjoyed throwing beanbags into hula hoops, racing along on sliders, dress-up relays, and egg and spoon races. Running over, around, under and through obstacles and the parachute was exhilarating.
Sports Day is also a great opportunity for parents to join in events with their children. The little ones really enjoyed cheering their parents on as they participated in events. A big thank you to the PFA for sponsoring our watermelon snack for after the event.
